(Re)Making History:
Tracing Politics in Urban Space
This project will map the names of major streets, public spaces and monuments in Belgrade and Sarajevo during and after the fall of Yugoslavia. The exercise aims to examine the impact of war in the post-conflict context and the continued fragmentation of the common narrative through the act of renaming of the urban elements in both cities.
